Needleless’ Infusion Consumables Power Luodong Poh-Ai Hospital’s Smart Infusion System Deployment
Needleless Corporation’s self-developed and manufactured infusion pump series have been officially adopted in Luodong Poh-Ai Hospital, in collaboration with Ingrasys’ “SmartMed Infusion System,” making it the first medical institution in eastern Taiwan to fully implement a connected smart infusion solution.
Dr. Wen-Bin Wang, Superintendent of Luodong Poh-Ai Hospital, stated that during the system implementation, Ingrasys demonstrated outstanding software-hardware integration and service capabilities, flexibly tailoring the system to meet clinical needs. The hospital will continue to collaborate closely with Ingrasys to explore more smart healthcare applications and further enhance patient safety and medical quality.
The various infusion sets designed for use with the SmartMed Infusion Pumps are all developed and manufactured by Needleless, including standard infusion sets, volumetric drip chamber sets, NTG medication infusion sets, light-shielded drug sets, and the newly launched transfusion infusion set. All products are proudly developed and manufactured in Taiwan, ensuring both quality assurance and reliable supply.
Going forward, Needleless plans to expand its product line to include syringe and feeding pumps, integrating all device data onto a unified platform. This will create a safer, smarter, and more efficient infusion environment, further contributing to the advancement of smart healthcare in Taiwan.
Under traditional infusion workflows, nurses must rely on manual settings and verification steps, yet human error can still occur. The SmartMed Infusion System, powered by proprietary smart healthcare technology, enables automatic order download, error prevention, real-time monitoring, anomaly alerts, and automatic documentation—significantly improving both safety and clinical efficiency.
